We tried to translate the banner created by the GDPR Cookie consent plugin from English to Portuguese (see attached images) but it keeps failling.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
Yes we tried in the normal way, with the String translation option on the WPML menu (attached images) but it does not find the strings that we want.
We then tried to increase the memory limit and upgrade the plugin to the latest version but it does not work either. (attached images)
After that we tried to go to Admin texts translation to find another strings but we didn't find the ones we needed.

Yes we already tried to follow the articles to translate that and we already followed the insctructions on the other topic that relates to this question (that topic was for other website).
We have the related plugins up to date too.

I'm able to login to your site but at a certain time, maybe the restriction is set to work for some specific hours.
I've checked the translation on your site and see that it is saved to the database correctly. But the translation is still not displayed on the frontend.
Checking the folder /wp-content/languages/wpml/, I do not see the .mo file created. There should be a file with a name like admin_texts_cookie-law-info-pt_pt.mo and a new timestamp. Each string translation domain will be generated to one .mo file, for example: hidden link
It is mostly related to the writing permissions on your installation. I recommend contacting your hosting support to ask for checking permission. Please read more on the documentation: https://wpml.org/faq/cannot-write-mo-files/
I've tried to translate the strings again but do not see the .mo file created. It could be a security measure or a block of code that does not allow PHP writing (your restriction IP?).
Or if you are using load balancers or multiple servers on your website, because that could also be the reason why you are having this issue.
Please check those points with your hosting support or your developer and try to translate any strings, if the .mo file is created this issue will be resolved.
We checked our permissions to write files and they are correct and they allow to write files. We also tried to translate the same strings on another machines but with the same website and the problem remains.

Can you please try to translate this plugin strings on a fresh install of WordPress? It could be in a local host, or a different hosting, where the permission is set to default.

Well I tried your sandbox where I installed the plugin of the Cookies (it seems different from what we have maybe because our is a premium version), but I was able to translate in the "Admin Texts Translation" section of WPML.
Then I tried to install the free version on our wbesite too to see if that was the problem. But once again I was not able to translate it on our website even tho I did the exact same way as in the Sandbox.
So you can see, the string can be translated and displayed as well on the sandbox site which has the fresh install and no permission/restriction. If you use the plugin WP File Manager, you can see there is a .mo file generated in the folder /wp-content/languages/wpml/, it has the domain name of the string. Please see my screenshot hidden link
But the translation doesn't display on your site and I do not see any .mo file in the same folder on your hosting. There could be something wrong with the permission/restriction on your hosting that prevents the String Translation plugin to write a .mo file to the folder.
