[Resolved] Footer doesn't show up as translated, even though it is translated
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to see the translated footer on their website despite following the manual for translating the footer and using string translation. Solution: We identified that the footer menu was not translated into the secondary language. To solve this, we: 1. Navigated to WPML >> WP Menu Sync page. 2. Selected the footer menu items. 3. Initiated the synchronization by pressing the Sync button. After these steps, the translated menu displayed correctly. We recommended the client to check their website to confirm the changes. For more details, we provided a documentation link: Translating Menus

I found a manual on how to translate the footer. But even though I did everything as said in there (using string translation etc.), and even though I can see the translations and have emptied the cache, I'm still being shown the original footer when I visit my own website. Can you help?
3. If the above steps don’t help, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.
Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.
=== Please backup your database and website ===
✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.
Thanks for providing the login details. I have logged in to your site and find out that the footer is translated correctly, so I just cleared the cache from the WP admin bar and now it shows the footer translation correctly as you can see in the attached screenshots. Could you please check and confirm?
Thanks for that, but I'm afraid it's still the same. Seems like half of the footer is translated, but the other half still doesn't show up. Also in the screenshot you attached. The first half is okay, the second half is not.
Apologies for missing those links initially. I've identified that the footer menu was not translated into the secondary language. To rectify this, I navigated to WPML >> WP Menu Sync page, selected the footer menu items, and initiated the synchronization by pressing the Sync button. As a result, the translated menu now displays correctly. Please take a moment to check and confirm.
Resolved! Great! Thanks so much, Noman. Am very happy about this. And really happy with the service you and your colleagues are offering. Very much appreciated.
