how to translate new content?

sharonB-13	My main page: hidden link I changed the footer to normal links instead of tablepress links. Now its in hebrew.. but when I change it to another lang it still in hebrew. I activated the auto translate but its still in hebrew, how to I translate new content when its being added (not posts), like in the footer links?

Mohamed Sayed	Hi Sharon, Thanks for contacting WPML support. When you use the "Translate Everything Automatically" mode, WPML will translate your posts and pages but it doesn’t pick up the strings automatically. The footer widgets can be translated by using the "String Translation" addon. sharonB-13	But its not auto translating.. When I click copy and clicking outside the translation field it stay in hebrew. this is manual translation or Im doing something wrong ?

Mohamed Sayed	Hi, 1. Please provide your debug information so I can look at some of your configurations. You can find it in WPML > Support > click on “Debug information” link. Please check this link for more info: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ 2. Kindly tell me more details about where you clicked copy and which translation field you mean. It would also be better if you could provide a screenshot that shows the issue from your back end.

Mohamed Sayed	I see the link is already translated, please check here: hidden link so you need only to translate the link text inside the widget string. Also, could you please tell me if the footer was created as a GeneratePress element? If yes, please make sure that you're following this guide to translate it: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/translating-generatepress-theme-using-wpml/#translating-elements
