Hello, Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to help you to resolve the issue. Does it happen with multiple posts or pages? Please create a new simple post or page for testing in German language, and check if the problem exists or not. It will be great if you can share a couple of screenshots or a screencast (screencapture of the issue, you can share it via Google Drive) for a better understanding of the bug. -- Bigul |

Hi Bigul Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, it unfortunately happens on multiple pages. Here's a little screencast of the problem: hidden link The text (that is in Elementor) "Entdecke die Stadt spielerisch" is correct. However, the website shows "Entdecken Sie die Stadt spielerisch" instead and I cannot remove it. I assume it was automatically translated to this, which I never wanted. Thanks and best, |

Hi Olivier, Thank you for the updates. One doubt. The default language of the site is Swiss German, but it is translated from English using WPML Automatic Translation, am I correct? If so, does it show the same results in WPML Advanced Translation Editor screen also? Please check if you can update it from Translation Editor or not. Refer to the following links to know more details about the Advanced Translation Editor screen. https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/ hidden link If the problem remains, it will be great if you can share the exact steps you are doing for the following. It will help us to track the issue. I was trying to add English without affecting the original German content. -- Bigul |

Hi Olivier, Thank you for the updates. Please try the following steps after a site backup, and make sure the bug exists or not. 1) Visit WPML>>Translation Management Dashboard and disable *Automatic Translation* like the attached image -- Bigul |

Hi Bigul I followed the steps, but unfortunately it still doesn't work. I turned off automatic translations. If I adjust and save an existing German page, nothing changes. If I create a new page in German and save, then the text stays the same. But this doesn't help me, as my old pages still show the wrong text... Best, |

Hi Oliver, Thank you for the updates. This may be related to the following ticket. Please try the workaround suggested there after a site backup and let us know your feedback. https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translation-is-not-updtaing-on-the-front-end/page/2/#post-16289272 If the problem remains, please deactivate WPML plugins for a few minutes, and check if the bug exists or not. -- Bigul |
