This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing a blank page when trying to translate a product using the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin, it might be related to your browser.
Solution:
We recommend trying the following steps:
1. Check if the issue persists in a different browser. As noted in your case, switching from Firefox to Chrome resolved the issue.
2. If changing browsers does not solve the problem, it could be related to specific settings or addons in your browser. Unfortunately, we have not been able to pinpoint which setting or addon might be causing this issue.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Symptoms:
After clicking on the + to translate a product, I encountered a blank page instead of a page with options to write translated text.

Questions:
Why am I seeing a blank page when trying to translate a product?
How can I resolve the issue of the blank page when translating products?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

Would you be willing to provide me with WordPress credentials so I could investigate the issue directly?

And also send me 1-2 URL of the products where blank screen occurs (I see Gateway 504 error, this is what you are referring to, correct?)

I marked your next reply as private so that you can safely add credentials.

Can you tell me which browser are you using and which OS?

Can you try another one perhaps? Because this is how it works for me:

I use macOS Mojave, quite old. And Firefox.
I tried Crome now – and it works! So my issue is resolved, I think.
Thanks.

I see, we had such case recently, however we tried reproducing it in several devices but weren't able to:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/no-editing-possible-in-wp-translation-editor/

So it is probably some specific setting in Firefox, maybe even some addon, but we weren't able to figure out which one, neither the client.

Thankfully another browser works so it can be used as a workaround.
