This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with their multilingual website where custom post fields' names are translated, but their values remain in the original language. Additionally, the language menu is missing in the Spanish version of the courses, and a development notice banner appears in the footer across all pages.
Solution:
For the issue of field values not translating, we recommend checking the WPML translation settings for custom fields. Ensure that the fields are set to 'Copy' or 'Translate' depending on your needs. You can find more information on configuring custom fields for translation here: Translating Custom Fields.
For the missing language menu, ensure that the WPML language switcher is correctly configured and added to your menu locations. Detailed steps can be found here: Language Switcher Options.
Regarding the development notice, re-register your website following the steps in the 'What if the notice still appears after moving to production?' section here: How to Remove the Development Site Notice.
If these solutions do not resolve your issues or seem outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.
