my client uses the Advanced Translation Editor on the entire homepage. Unfortunately, the sentence-by-sentence translation is often not useful. This is because some sentences can be better displayed in two sentences and vice versa.
Now I would like to use the Classic Editor alongside the Advanced Translation Editor on some pages. Is it possible to use both systems?
And can we use the Classic Editor in the long term or is it planned to deactivate the old system at some point?
This way, you can duplicate the page from the default language into any language you want, and then you can switch to the backend of that specific language by switching the language from the top-bar area language switcher, and editing the duplicated page with the editor of your choice.
This way, you also have full control over the design on the translated page.
In regards to the last question, I am not sure for how long there's gonna be Classic Translation Editor in place. It would be hard for me to give an answer to this as I really have no idea.
I hope that you will find these answers helpful 🙂
