[Resolved] Divi library elements not showing translated on pages
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was experiencing issues with translating Divi global and non-global elements on WooCommerce product pages. The translations for library elements were not displaying correctly, showing only in French, despite being translated into English. The issue was specific to pages using Divi Theme Builder layouts for product pages, while translations for headers and footers created with the same builder were functioning correctly. Solution: We recommended the following steps: 1. Navigate to WPML -> Translation Management. 2. Filter by 'Body template' in French. 3. Translate all the body templates. 4. Verify if the issue is resolved. The client later confirmed that the issue was resolved after updating a carousel plugin and ensuring all translations were up to date in the Translation Management panel.
Please note that this solution might not apply to your situation if it's outdated or not relevant to your case. We highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket with us.

I am using some divi global and not global elements on my product pages (woocommerce) and they are not showing translated.
The problem seem to appear only on the pages ruled by the divi body theme builder layouts. I use Theme builder for my products pages.
I did the translations of the library elements in the translation management panel but the library elements are always showing in french wich is the second language (main language is english).
What is also strange is that the translation are working for header and footer also made in divi theme builder. The footer is also an global elements from divi library.
I hope it is clear let me know if you need more details to help 🙂
Here is a sample page. The 2 buttons and the "they like upya" part are the problem. The rest works fine as the content comes from the product page. hidden link
1.- Please share the edit link to translate the Divi template that shows untranslated
2.- I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. If we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
3.- Please provide the debug information of the site in the section that appears below this ticket.
Thanks! This time I was able to access de site correctly.
Before we continue I kindly ask you to create a full backup of the site and update all outdated plugins and themes that appear in this link: hidden link
Then double-check if the issue disappeared after finishing the steps above.
Hi Carlos,
I updated everything except 2 plugins that I don't have the licence. I desactivated them and the problem is still here.
I did a full back-up, but I see that some content has disappeared. Everything about products and also videos and carrousels on other pages... Did you touch anything ?
Please follow these steps:
- Go to WPML -> Translation Management
- Filter by 'Body template' in French
- Translate all those body templates (see attached image)
- Double-check if the issue disappeared
Hello Carlos,
Everythings works fine now.
It seemed that it was a muiltiplication of small issues that made it not working.
One carrousel plugin that wasn't up to date (nothing related to woocommerce...) + some traduction not up to date too (in translation management).
Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need our help in the future with WPML. We will be more than happy to help.
Best regards,
Carlos
