This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to duplicate the content of a page using WPML but is unable to duplicate certain parts managed by the WP Team Pro plugin. Specifically, team member titles and clickable links to personal pages are not showing up after translation.
Solution:
1. Ensure the Team Member Post Type is set to "Translatable - only show translated content" in WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation.
2. Translate or duplicate the team members using the WPML Translation Editor or through WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard. For more details, visit Translating Custom Posts and How to Duplicate Pages and Posts in Bulk.
3. If using shortcodes, such as [wpteam id="4818"], these cannot be translated directly with the WPML Translation Editor. Instead, translate the Team and then manually update the shortcode in the translated page using the page builder.
4. Consider the compatibility of plugins like "BM Content Builder" and "WP Team PRO" with WPML. If issues persist, using the WordPress Editor for translations might be necessary. Further testing on a WPML test site can be arranged to ensure compatibility.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi there,

Before this ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues I will try to answer the question.

I am not sure if I understood what is the problem. If you want to duplicate a page with its translation you can use the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin.

Here are the list of recommended plugins to use, make sure you read the description of each plugin:

https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/duplication/

Thanks.

hi no i want them to be in english i followed instructions of a supporter

Mihai Apetrei
15 : 09 : 15
And then, you can switch to the other language from the top admin bar, and then go to pages, and then edit that duplicated page with the same page builder

Mihai Apetrei
15 : 09 : 28
This way, you will edit the translation with the same page builder and you can manually change the content as you wish

Mihai Apetrei
15 : 09 : 46
You can even remove blocks and add new blocks or select different styling/properties for the current blocks

but once they were duplicated wpteampro plugin's team parts wont show you can see them in the links

Hello,

Your site properly has a Team Member Post Type.

You need to go to WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation and set this post type to "Translatable - only show translated content".

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-posts/#enable-custom-post-types-for-translation

Then go to the list of your Team Members and translate with the WPML Translation Editor or or duplicate them by going to WPML > Translation Management > Dashboard.

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/#how-to-duplicate-pages-and-posts-in-bulk

Now, the translated page should pull in dynamically the translated team members.

In case not, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

You are using a shortcode to display the team:

[wpteam id="4818"]

This shortcode can not be translated with the WPML Translation Editor. I could only try to implement a workaround that would let you translate the shortcode's ID inside the Advanced Translation Editor. If this would be interesting for you, let me know.

First and for now, you will need to translate the Team and then place the proper shortcode for the translated team on the translated page, directly in your page builder.

Also, take note that the "BM Content Builder" is not a very commonly used plugin and might not be fully compatible with the WPML Translation Editor.

Also "WP Team PRO" seems not to be fully compatible. While testing a translation right now, the Filter Members setting is not copied to the translated team. I then tested further but now I am getting a 403 Forbidden Error when trying to create further translations.

You might need to consider using the WordPress Editor as a translation method if the translation with the WPML Translation Editor does not work out as expected:

https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/

If necessary, I can offer a WPML test site on which you can install "BM Content Builder" and "WP Teams PRO" so that we can investigate further and take further steps to obtain full compatibility.

i've translated the wpteampro user pages and they are now inside the duplicated pages actually there is only 1-2 things missing the title of the person and email etc... is there a way we could solve this? and on the other note is there a plugin you recommend me use for team members fully compatible with wpml?

I am not sure how you created those translations.

If you revise your translated Turkish Team Members you will see that all fields are empty:

I did not complete the translation inside the WPML Translation Editor for the first member in the list and the fields are getting translated.

You need to complete the translations for the values to show up in the second language.

"do you have any other translation plugin other than wpml for this plugin?"
- This is a question for the WP Teams PRO Support.
