This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that the filter "Marine Speakers and Subwoofers" was not functioning on their WooCommerce site. Additionally, they mentioned that the "annasta Woocommerce Product Filters" plugin was not working at all.
Solution:
We acknowledged a misunderstanding due to a name change of a plugin from WOOF to HUSKY, which was still listed under its old name in our compatibility list. The client resolved the filter issue by renaming their category and updating the URL slug, which made everything work perfectly. For future issues or questions, we advised the client to open a new support ticket.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

The filter "Marine Speakers and Subwoofers" is not working in hidden link. The issue was also mentioned here:

Hello,

After further investigation, I have found that Husky might need additional configuration to work properly with WPML. Even though they say it on their website, we at WPML haven't verified the plugin compatibility and cannot confirm it's compatible with WPML.

Please check their documentation on the subject:

Since the additional settings have to be done in Husky, I advise you reach out to them, to check how you can make your multilingual categories compatible with their plugin.

We also have an extensive list with many plugins that are WPML compatible and ready to use, in case you want to check for alternatives:

Hello!

I do not really know why "Husky might need additional configuration to work properly with WPML" if they put down that "WOOF is absolutely compatible with WPML".

And it was working, and it still working except only 1 category. I also had the menu problem with this category, when it was not in the list while creating menu.

So I tried to delete and re-create this category, didn't help. Still working in Spanish and not in English.

So, I moved on, created the Test/Prueba category, put there 1 product from "Marine Speakers and Subwoofers" and it's working like a magic.

May I kindly ask you to help me to clean the cash? May be there the problem.

Hello,

We, at WPML, have an extensive list of tested and verified plugins and themes, which we thoroughly tested and made the necessary internal changes to ensure they work well with WPML. Even if on their side they say it's compatible with WPML, it's not something we can confirm on our side. Furthermore, I checked your categories and products and everything is correctly set up, so if there's something that needs extra work, it is probably on Husky.

I emptied the WPML Cache, it seems it's the only one that can be emptied, since you're not using any caching plugin.

You can reach out to Husky, to see if there's something that can be on their side or if they have any additional information that can help us here, to check why this specific category is showing this behavior. If you have feedback from them, please let me know.

Hello!

The WOOF, which is Husky is on your of tested and verified plugins and themes
https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility./?wpv_view_count=119945&dev=0&wpv-plugin-functionality=woocommerce-extension&wpv_post_search=filter&wpv_filter_submit=Search

We're using the free version because we only need category filter.

So, we did not reach their support, but solved it:
- we renamed the Test category to our real one
- we changed the url slug to new one
Everything works perfect.

By the way, "annasta Woocommerce Product Filters" - is not working at all on our website:)

Now we can close this ticket, thank you!

Hey there,

I apologize for the confusion. Since they changed their name to HUSKY and in our compatibility list it still says WOOF, I got mistaken. Thank you for understanding.

It's great to hear that you managed to solve your issue. You can open a new ticket, if you have any questions or problems in the future 🙂
