I have fixed the problem by restoring the backup from the server don't worry and will try your methods to solve the WPML issue

Hey, I have followed your instructions and disabled all plugins except the WPML ones and Woocommerce and it has been done in a staging platform but on our live server, so the result is when we try to switch the language we get a 404 error. this is the duplicate site shop page link hidden link please check

Hi Fiona,

Thanks for your patience and efforts restoring the website, also creating the test website for us.

We could solve the issues after updating WCML to 5.1.3, and resaving the Settings -> Permalinks page with 'Post name' (which was the cause of the 404 issue).

Now please check that the 'Related Products' section only shows Chinese products, for instance: hidden link

I think that by simply updating the plugins in the live website, the issue will be solved. Make sure to have a website backup and test it there, please.

by the way, I am not being able to update WCML, How did you update that plugin? every time i try to update it says "Update failed"

Thanks for your reply.

We have just uploaded the latest WCML directly in Plugins -> Add New. You can download it from here: https://wpml.org/account/downloads/, and upload it in the 'Add New' plugin page.

Or, you can delete your previous key and create a new one, in order to solve the "Update failed" issue.

Please review these options and let us know about your results.
