[Resolved] How can I translate Simple Job Board and the posts created with it?
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is using the Simple Job Board plugin and it appears only in English. The posts created with this plugin do not show the translation option. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you follow these steps: 1. Navigate to WPML > Settings > Post Type Translation and set the type "Jobs" to "Translatable - only show translated content". For more details, visit Translating Custom Posts. 2. Apply the same settings for any related taxonomies at WPML > Settings > Taxonomy Translation. Check out Translating Post Categories and Custom Taxonomies for guidance. 3. Go to WPML > Settings > Custom Field Translation and enable the option "Show 'Multilingual Content Setup' meta box on post edit screen". Refer to Translating Custom Posts for more information. 4. Open one of your jobs in the WordPress Editor and check the bottom section for "Multilingual Content Setup". Set fields that need to be translated to "Translate" and others to "Copy".
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
I am using the Simple Job Board plugin, but it appears only in the English language, and the posts created with Simple Job Board do not show the translation option.
How can I translate the plugin and all the posts created?
Now open one of your jobs on the WordPress Editor and check the bottom section for "Multilingual Content Setup".
Here you should now see Custom Fields that are related to your jobs. Make sure to set fields that need to be translated to "Translate". Other fields, that relate to the job but do not need to be translated should be set to "Copy" so that their values are available on the translated jobs.
Thanks for the information, however there is missing information within the posts that are not shown, such as some images and icons and text, in the attached images you can see what I mean.
You can also see it from:hidden link
And an Apply Now button that is not in Spanish: hidden link
Thanks.

If it does not help, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.
❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌
You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
We limit one issue per ticket only so I will split your issues into other tickets for better handling.
In this ticket, I will focus on the translation single job post. To translate the job post, please follow steps:
1. Go to WPML > Settings > Post Types Translation > Set the post type "jobpost" preference to "Translatable - only show translated items" > Save.
2. Go to WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation > Search for the fields "simple_job_board_xxx" > Set the preference to "Translate" > Save.
3. Now you can translate the job post with the custom field text in the single job header from WPML > Translation Management or when editing a job post.
