This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translating the call content of the product aggregation page using WPML. The main content and pictures disappear after attempting to translate the page from English to Chinese.

Solution:
1. Ensure that the WP memory limit is sufficient. It is recommended to increase the WP memory limit to at least 256MB by adding the following line to the wp-config.php file:

/* Memory Limit */<br />define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

2. Update all WPML plugins to the latest version, which as of the last update is v4.8.4. This can be done from Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab.

3. Update any outdated plugins and themes to avoid conflicts that could affect the translation process. This can be done via the link provided in the WP admin panel.

4. For translating taxonomy terms automatically, follow the guide available at https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-all-taxonomy-terms-at-once/. This includes adding the taxonomy to the content and setting it to translate automatically.

If these steps do not resolve the issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

1.- Could you describe what you mean by 'the call content of the product'? Can you share a screenshot where this content can be seen?

2.- Please increase the WP memory Limit. Minimum requirements are 128Mb: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
You can add this to wp-config.php to increase WP memory:`

/* Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

- Add it above the line /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

You can double-check the WordPress memory limit in WPML -> Support

3.- Last but not least, update the WPML plugins in Plugins -> Add new -> Commercial tab. The latest WPML version is v4.8.4

Looking forward to your message.
Regards,
Carlos

Once the plugins and themes are up-to-date, edit the category we are using as a reference (hidden link) -> Save the category -> Translate it and double-check if the issue has disappeared.

Is there a way to be automatically translated and recognized by wpml? We have more than 40 pages, and each page has many blocks to add translation

Hi there,

Yes, to automatically translate this taxonomy, you need to add it to the content and translate that content automatically. In this FAQ you can read the guide on how to do it: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-all-taxonomy-terms-at-once/

Can you help us adjust the operation directly? My colleague tried this method but it still didn't work. Because of the time difference, our team needs to wait for a long time every time. You can directly translate it to us after it is successfully translated. Our website is backed up

Hi,

Did your colleague try with already translated taxonomies or with untranslated ones?

Sorry, I don’t understand what you said.
The first method is successful, but it must be entered manually, which is time-consuming. The second method failed, we tried it with no effect
Here is the second method:
Yes, to automatically translate this taxonomy, you need to add it to the content and translate that content automatically. In this FAQ you can read the guide on how to do it: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-all-taxonomy-terms-at-once/

Our team wanted to find a way to automate the translation of category pages.
