Dear support,

Everytime I create a new (pet) post on my website, I copy another (pet) post and then change the content. With the original language (Spanish) I have indicated that I want to "hide the header title", but when I add the translations in English and Dutch, these header titles are shown and I have to tick the "hide header title" box manually per language.

Can you advise where to change this in the settings?

hidden link (where you find all pets)
hidden link (when you click on one of them; and this is where the header title appears!)

Thank you in advance.

Hi there.

There is a custom field that holds that information (the fact that you set to NOT display the title for the default language).

What needs to be done is that you will need to find the exact custom field that's holding that data and set it as "copy":
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/

Probably you can try to search for the custom field by specific keywords like "hide" or "title".

After that, make a small edit to the default language page so that WPML will set the translation into the "translation needs update" status and then re-save the translation.

From now on, the title should be hidden automatically in the translations, too.

Please let me know how things go.

Kind regards,
