abdullahA-31	Dear WPML team We have a problem with our website, when we update (WordPress 6.2 to 6.3 , Theme 6.1.9 to 6.9.6). Before updating the website we have stopped all plugins and after update complete we activated them one by one. It works fine until we activated (WPML and all related WPML plugin, woo commerce), our website become slow and does not work properly. Please help us to solve the problem, so we can update the WordPress and theme Best regards

Try the following and let me know if by any chance it helps you: - Go to WPML > String Translation - Find the domain "default" and select it - Delete all the strings belonging to that domain (select them and scroll down until you find the button "delete all selected strings") Does that help a bit with performance and avoids the 500 error, by any chance? -------------------- If possible, please enable the debug.log before you start the above mentioned procedure: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/ If there were any issues on the site, a file called "debug.log" will appear. If you find it, please upload it to your preferred storage platform (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and share the link to me in your reply (make sure it's shared with the right permissions so I can access its content). I'll take a look at the file and determine the next steps.

Can you please recheck the site if it works properly after deleting strings belonging to the "default" domain? Can you please follow the next steps and let me know how it goes? Please make a backup before proceeding. 1) Install the Query Monitor plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/). 2) Check the load time and the number of queries in the top bar. Load time has "s" and queries “Q”. 3) Disable all WPML plugins and check load time and the number of queries. 4) Disable all other plugins and leave active only WPML plugins, switch to a WordPress default theme. Check again. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info. ❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌ You can use this plugin to create the backup: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ ✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme to change configurations on the site if needed. Then I try to deactivate one-by-one and see the site is pretty slow after activating some plugins: Custom Sidebars, Mail Poet, Popup Builder, Quform. Please check this screenshot hidden link I also notice the "waiting for server response" time is increased after each plugin is activated, so I think it could be related to XAMPP app on your server. Please try to migrate your site to a test site on the Cloudways server and I will test the performance again. To migrate, please follow these simple steps: - Install this plugin on your site: Cloudways WordPress Migrator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/bv-cloudways-automated-migration/). - After you activate it, you will be redirected to the migration form. - Fill it with the information in the private reply below. -Agree with the terms of service and click on "Migrate".
