[Resolved] Need automatioc translation for my Wordpress Site.
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing issues with both automatic and manual translations not working on their WordPress site after installing the WPML plugin. They have completed translations on a staging site and are now looking to apply these to the live site without purchasing additional credits. Solution: First, ensure that the WPML plugin is properly installed and activated on your live site. You can follow the installation guide here: WPML Installation Guide. Next, to transfer completed translations from the staging to the live site, use the WPML's Translation Management tools. Detailed steps can be found here: Translating Your Content. Regarding the WPML license for the live site, you do not need to purchase additional credits if you have already done so for the staging site. Simply log in to your WPML account and follow the instructions to activate the license on your live site.
If these steps do not resolve your issues or if the information provided becomes outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still face problems, please open a new support ticket.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Thank you for the update, I was able to access the site.
I noticed that the memory limit is set to 40M (please check the attached image from WPML -> Support page), the WP memory limit needs to be increased as WordPress uses 40Mb as default and the minimum requirements for WPML are 128 MB. Kindly check this page for more information.
You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file right before the line: /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */
To further troubleshoot the issue I would require a copy of your website to test it locally and further escalate the issue if needed.
You can use the Duplicator plugin to create a copy of your website and upload the backup on a file-sharing website (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), please send me the link to download the backup after.
* Please try to minimize the size of the backup file by excluding unnecessary media files or backup folders that might be in the "/wp-content/" folder.
I’ve set your next reply as private so you can provide the backup link.
As per our company policy, we are unable to share the website or its files with external parties. It is important for us to resolve this issue as soon as possible and are open to exploring alternative methods. If no other solution is available, we may need to consider discontinuing WPML. In such a case, we would request a full refund of the amount spent, including €99 + €29.78 plus tax, as the website did not go live.
Please advise on any other possibilities to address the issue while adhering to our policy.
I understand your privacy policy, but I would like to note that in certain cases might be difficult to assist with proper troubleshooting if we can't test properly a website (we do require copies of websites as we do perform local testing and escalate further to 2nd tier support teams if needed).
That said I will do my best to troubleshoot in these conditions, please try next the following steps:
1 - update all the plugins/theme that require update in your website
2 - please try checking if the issue happens by switching to the Divi parent theme, disabling all plugins except the WPML ones (I noticed that when I try to edit the home page with Divi builder, nothing happens, the Divi builder doesn't open).
* I suggest disabling any cache plugin/module during the staging phase to prevent any kind of issues that might be related to them.

I've downloaded the zip file but there is no database file (.sql file, I need it to set
up the local website).
Also, the size of the "wp-content/uploads" folder is 1.2 GB, please try using the Duplicator plugin as suggested, it does have a feature to exclude unnecessary files and will include the database file (it generates a .zip file and an installer.php file).
