This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
We have a workflow where multiple people want to review translations. We create translation jobs in WPML and one translator takes over the translation. But if in WPML one translator takes over a translation, only they can view the translation. In the translation queue only the assigned editor can view/edit it, while the other translators don't see it.
Is there a way so that multiple translators/reviewers can check the completed translation?
Solution:
This behavior is expected. Once a translator takes and completes a translation job, the same job can no longer be taken by a second translator. If you want a different translator to edit and review the same translation, you need to resend the content for translation and assign it to that translator.
If you also want to allow the reviewers to send the translation jobs to themselves, independently, you'll need to add them as 'translation managers' in WPML -> Translation Management -> Translators tab. After this they'll be able to send the posts to translation in the TM dashboard, and assign them in the WPML -> Translations queue.
