Is "Toolset Types" and "Toolset" the same plugin? Also it seems the site key for WPML is different from that for Toolset. See attached image.

1. The site key for WPML does not work for Toolset.
2. When I click "Obtain a site key", I will visit https://toolset.com/account/sites/?add=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datanumen.com%2Fblogs.

Should I obtain a new key from the toolset.com site?

Hi there.

Yes, the "Toolset" plugin is independent and separate from the WPML.org account. It requires a different subscription.

The "Toolset Types" is kind of a "lite" version of the main plugin so that people that use WPML can give it a try.

But yes, you would need a key from the Toolset.com site.

Then how to get the key for the "Toolset Types". I visit https://toolset.com/log-in/ and use the login for wpml.org, but fails to login. The other option is to "Buy Now" to get an account. However, since you said the lite version is free with the WPML, why I still need to pay to get an account and then get the key for it?

Hi there.

I think there is a misunderstanding here.

There are 2 versions of the Toolset plugin: a "lite" version which is NOT the full/pro version that you find at toolset.com and this "lite" version comes for free with your WPML.org account.

That notice that you see at the top should NOT show up, this is why I shared this information in our other ticket here:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/unregistered-version-of-toolset-error/#post-13606519

And then, there's the "PRO/FULL" version of Toolset, which can be found and bought at toolset.com, and if you buy that one, yes, you will be able to download the complete plugin and generate a key for it just like you can generate a key from the WPML.org site here:
https://wpml.org/account/sites/

The "lite" version comes for free for WPML.org users just to get a taste of what Toolset can do.

I hope that this explains things better. 🙂
