question 2 - I don't know which translation modus to chose. I want to translate the content automatically (letting WPML's translation program do it), but I want to translate each item 1 by 1 so that I can check each translation first before I move on to the next, and that I need to give approval before WPML translates something. From what I've read, "Translate everything automatically" will literally translate everything, which makes me go through my credits real fast. But the "Translate what you choose" did not have the DeepL, Google Translate, and Microsoft translate modules that were talked about, but instead the list consisted of a bunch of vague translation programs I never heard of. From how I am reading the descriptions, neither "translate everything automatically" nor "Translate what you choose" is exactly what I'm looking for. Please help me out.

Hi,

The "Translate Everything Automatically" option will translate all your content automatically, so I suggest using the "Translate What You Choose" option then you will be able to send the individual posts/pages for automatic translation from WPML > Translation Management.

You can also use automatic translation from the advanced translation editor (Kindly check the attached screenshot).

Please check this guide for more details: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/#translating-individual-pages-posts-and-other-content-automatically

Mohamed

-So you can use this function while being in the Translate What You Choose option?

Hi,

Yes, you can use the automatic translation with the "Translate What You Choose" option.

This option will allow you to translate multiple posts/pages in bulk from the "Translation Management" module by following the steps mentioned here: https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/automatically-translating-multiple-translation-jobs-in-bulk/#automatically-translating-posts-and-pages-in-bulk

Or to translate each page individually in the advanced translation editor by clicking the "Translate automatically" button that appears in the attached screenshot.

I hope that you will find this answer helpful.

Regards,
Mohamed
