I created a multilingual site using Elementor pro and WPML. The pages are translating independently and I'm able to edit the translation text and images right in the Elementor page builder for the translated languages and and I set font style, directions, alignment... for every language. The problem is that every time I'm editing the Hebrew pages (default language) it change the style of font style, directions, alignment... in the translated language (FR and EN) so things are align to right in FR and EN pages and the font size is changing. Please help 🙂 |

Hello, Maybe you need to adjust the Elementor Custom Fields that control the Elementor Settings at WPML > Settings > Custom Field Translation > Show System Fields. There should be a field named "_elementor_settings" - if I am not mistaken. Try to make sure that this field is not set to "Copy" - you could set it instead to "Copy once" which means that the settings will only be copied when creating the first translation of the content and from there you should be able to set the settings independently. Also, please verify that on the original content, inside the right side bar, the WP Editor ist activated as a translation method. If here the WPML > Translation Editor is enabled it could cause loss of your manual edits on the translated content. Could you please give this a test? Best regards |

Hello Moni, I have created a test site with WPML and Elementor. One-Click-Login: Could you please try to recreate the issue here by using a simple example content and let me know if you can recreate this issue on this test site? Best regards |

Hello Moni, First, I can see the same issue at the moment on the Hebrew page even after removing the other pages and enabling WPML. This appears not to be a WPML issue and should be reported to the Elementor Support Team. Please verify this yourself on our test site. I can see the issue even on a new test site that I created without having WPML active. For WPML: In your example, you marked the English translation to be a duplicate. A duplicate is not a real translation in WPML, as it will always be overwritten by the original content if the original content gets updated. Next, if you create original content in Hebrew and then translate it with the WPML Translation Editor for example to French (not as duplicate), it is expected that the style settings are copied. There is no way to translate those style settings with the WPML Translation Editor. The only way to achieve different layouts/Designs in different languages would be by editing the content manually on the WordPress Editor. In such cases, you usually should set the translation method on the original content inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor to use the WordPress Editor for translations, as otherwise the style settings will get overwritten by the WPML Translation Editor. How to translate content manually: Best regards |
