[Resolved] The translation editor is just showing a white screen.
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: If you're experiencing a white screen when trying to access the WPML translation editor after updating WPML Multilingual CMS to version 4.6.6 and String Translation to version 3.2.8, this could be due to an issue with special characters and Regex that our team is aware of. Solution: We have identified that the issue occurs when accessing the translation editor for an automatic translation of a product or from a product page. Our development team has been working on a fix for this problem. A patch has been released that should resolve the issue, and you should now be able to use the translation editor as expected. If you're still encountering problems, please ensure that you have updated to the latest version of our plugins.
If this solution doesn't look relevant to your issue, please don't hesitate to open a new support ticket with us.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Your colleague Sumit has yesterday been doing some performance troubleshooting on the staging site. During that process it looks like he has connected the automatic translation account of the staging site to the production site, so now we have up to 15 duplicate entries of each word in the Glossary on the production site.
Now where the Glossary is already messed up, I was thinking that we might as well connect the remaining 3 sites (dev, dev1 and new) to the automatic translation account of the production server, to be sure that the separate ATE’s are not causing the issue. Let me know what you think?
I really hope you are handling this issue with the highest priority, because we now have more than 100 products that needs to be translated.
Last week we were able to open the WPML translation editor for some products, but now it is just showing a white screen again.
This is really critical as we have not been able to edit translations for more than a month now. When do you guys expect to have a permanent solution to the issue?
I have followed up with the team and was notified that unfortunately, the deployment had to be pushed back. Once I hear back from them regarding the release I will update you here, thank you for your patience while we are resolving this.
We are able to access the WPML translation editor again. Do your colleagues in the ATE dev team also see the issue as solved or is it just lucky coincidence?
