Hi Ahmed,
I will do a Screenrecording and share it with you. No problem.
As it happened in so many WordPress now, and also at Yvettes temporary WP installation there must be something going on there. Also Yvette could reproduce these errors in the beginning. Maybe there is just one little step we should avoid (if that is even possible. Because if everything is translated correctly and after that someone changes the translation, there will be no update at all to anything as I could figure out. But exactly after saving a stable translation again something gets updated in the database. Maybe a wrong timestamp or anything. Otherwise WPML would delete/overwrite the already translated fields)

Thanks a lot for the recording. I can see the issue clearly. I suspect the special letters in the translated content. I'll test with this too. I'll keep you updated.
Thanks again for your cooperation.

I reproduced the issue with the German special characters. I escalated this issue to our developers and they'll work on a fix for it.

Hi Ahmed,
I also tested without using special characters but no difference. It always replaces the contents.
It's even worse than I thought. Once it got replaced, it replaces the contents every time we follow the normal procedure.
- After it got overwritten I fix the translation. Save it.
- I change the original one again. Save it. Translation gets "Needs update" status
- I open the translation and again, the contents got replaced with the original ones.
I am sorry.

Thanks for the additional information. I'll keep you updated when we get a fix for this issue.
Currently, you can use the manual translation method until this issue is fixed
