I have received some feedback, and here's what was mentioned:
As far as I can see it always redirects to pt-pt language.
There might be some logic from the theme that depends on a field that redirects because the value might be not the expected one.
It is odd that it does not redirect for example the English post - hidden link
I suggest comparing the posts and the postmeta - mainly the ENglish and Japanese posts and see what is the differnce.
This will help to identify the issue.
I've generated a new product post at this URL: hidden link , and it functions smoothly when I attempt to switch to the JP language. It seems there could be a specific option within your post metadata responsible for this behavior. Would it be possible for you to inspect each of the post metadata settings to determine which one might be causing this problem?
Thanks for letting me know, firstly by postmeta do you mean the SEO section or is that something else?
secondly is there any news on the other issues
namely:
1.The TVU search page that appears as a 404
2. The sections changing colors or going missing randomly across product pages

I apologize for the inconvenience. We are currently investigating the "error 404 not found" issue on the product page, which redirects to the PT language page.
To better address the various issues, I have divided the ticket into separate sections. Our support policy allows us to handle one issue per ticket. Here are the specific issues:
Regarding the post meta, our 2nd Tier Support team is referring to the "Product Attributes," as indicated in the attached screenshot provided.
On another note, I conducted a test by removing the Japanese language product and recreating the page, which resolved the issue. You can now access it at hidden link. However, during troubleshooting, the Japanese translations were lost. Do you happen to have a backup of these translations?
Yes we have a back up but for me the link you sent is still a 404. also for the attributes since we translated it from wmpl translator shouldn't the product attributes be exactly the same anyway? its the process we have been using for every page and has been working well up until recently.
The topic ‘[Closed] Translation page appearing as 404 despite being published’ is closed to new replies.
