This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translations not being visible when switching between editing in the WordPress Editor and the WPML Translation Editor. They are working with four languages and are unsure if they can use both editors simultaneously and whether they can make design changes in Elementor.
Solution:
We explained that it is expected behavior that you cannot use both the WPML Translation Editor and the WordPress Editor at the same time for translating content. When you choose a translation method in the WordPress Editor's sidebar under "Languages", you must stick to that method. If you edit translated content in the WordPress Editor after using the WPML Translation Editor, those changes will be overwritten the next time you use the WPML Translation Editor. For manual translations using the WordPress Editor, we provided a guide:

OK, so it looks like after a while (2 hours) the correct translation it is displayed but why it is taking so long to synchronize the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency and the WordPress editor? Obviously, I had cleaned caches, cloudflare and tried in private browsing
We need to edit in WordPress editor and press save because of the Rank Math plugin. It is frustrating not to know what is the situation. Thank you

Hello,

Do you mean that you updated the original product and when accessing the WPML Translation Editor you do not see the updated text?

Take note, that if you edit translations directly inside the WordPress Editor then they will get overwritten once you translate the content again with the WPML Translation Editor.

Can you currently still recreate this?

1) Edit any original product on the WordPress Editor.
2) Click on the translation icon in the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor or go to WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual > Products.

Question:
Do you see your latest edits on the WPML Translation Editor?

Or is the issue, that you are able to update the translation on the WPML Translation Editor but the changes will not show up in Frontend?

Best regards
Andreas

Thank you for the reply.
Sorry for confusing you; I will recreate the steps for bought scenarios:

1. Edit the translation in WordPress editor, saving it and moving it to WPML Translation Editor. The changes are not visible here.
2. Making changes in WPML Translation Editor, and sometimes are visible in the WordPress editor and sometimes not.

We are working with 4 languages, and usually, when we do changes or translations, we do it for all 4 languages, starting with one and going one by one.

So, as far as I understand, it will always be the WPML Translation Editor that will save the text and only for media elements edit in WordPress? Can we do design changes also in Elementor?

Thank you

Hello,

This is expected.

You can only translate with one of both methods.

On the original content inside the WordPress Editor's sidebar at "Languages" you set the translation method which can be:

- WPML Translation Editor
or
- WordPress Editor

You can not use both methods at the same time, as the WPML Translation Editor can not recognize edits that are made on translated content inside the WordPress Editor. Those edits will be overwritten once you translate the content again with the WPML Translation Editor.
