This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to register WPML on their site, which has become extremely slow (both backend and frontend). They encountered errors such as 'The Login is Invalid' and 'Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known"', suggesting issues with server firewall or invalid FTP host address.

Solution:
1. We recommended enabling debugging as per the instructions at https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/ and sending over the Debug Log files.
2. We suggested removing WPML and OTGS Installer and reuploading them from fresh, then trying to activate them again.
3. We asked the client to check with their hosting provider if a firewall was preventing communication with the WPML server, as detailed here: https://wpml.org/faq/troubleshooting-registration/#wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org
4. We provided a SQL command to potentially resolve the registration issue:

ALTER TABLE `wp_options`
CHANGE `option_id` `option_id` bigint(20) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT FIRST;

If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. I'm trying to register WPML on my site..
And since this happened my site is extremly slow (backend and frontend)

Is there any documentation that you are following?
I've followed all instructions found on wpml forum

Is there a similar example that we can see?

Thanks for contacting WPML support.

Could you please try registering WPML following the instructions here https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#register .

You just need to generate a site key from your account here https://wpml.org/account/sites/ and register the site key on the plugin dashboard.

As for the toolset, you can safely ignore the message if you do not wish to install or use it.

I'm not the begginer with WPML I have it on 9 sites and I'm paying it for 5 years now!

I have a big huge for 10 days 🙁

Is this a safe place to leave you login data so you can take a look by yourself?

IMPORTANT: Please, note, a backup is required for security reasons, and to avoid any data loss, you can use the https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/plugin for these backup needs.

Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

since my hosting provider hasn't answered me all day could we try another option?

I could give you access to my PC over anydesk if it is ok with you...
The you would have access to cpanel and try to sort this out

We just have to schedule time that suits you 🙂

Hi Kor,

Using FileZilla I've been able to connect to ftp using same credidentials.
You have to setup in Transfer Settings-> Transfer Mode: Active
