Problem: The client is trying to get the product attribute filter to appear on category pages for translated languages in WooCommerce, but the attribute fields are not showing up. Solution: 1. We have spotted the client had set the Product Brand (pa_brand) as 'Translatable - use translation if available or fallback to default language' in WPML -> Settings -> Post Types Translation. 2. We noticed that the Brand terms in Chinese had no products assigned, which is a common issue when products and categories are set as 'Appear as translated' and only part of the content is translated. 3. We recommended using the 'duplicate' feature instead of the 'fallback' option. Detailed steps can be found here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/#duplicating-content. 4. We duplicated one product of the Brand 'Lee Kum Kee' to Chinese and turned off the option "Use the product attributes lookup table for catalog filtering" in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Advanced. 5. Finally, we suggested translating the widget texts through WPML -> String Translation module, which may require deleting and recreating the previous strings and widgets.

Problem: The client is using the Porto theme and has automatically translated their homepage into two languages, but the layout changes on the translated pages, causing inconsistency across the site. Solution: 1. Navigate to WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation section. 2. Set the custom fields "default" and "layout" to the "Copy" preference. 3. Edit the homepage in the default language and click on Update to synchronize the layout with the translated pages. 4. If the layout still doesn't match, go into each translation editor view of the page and click Complete, then update the page again in the default language.
