I have contacted Yoast, and I told someone must have changed the setting on the French page manually. I sure did not do that. They asking me to manually change the setting on the translated page. But, doesn't WPML forbid editing the translated pages via the Elementor editor? |

Hello, This depends on the settings on WPML > Settings > Custom Field Translation. If those settings were altered you might have unexpected results. Can you recreate the issue when creating a new post or page and translating it? Best regards |

I've tried with a new page, and the result was the same. |

Hello, I would like to offer to take a closer look and request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the site to investigate the issue further. The required fields are below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it. IMPORTANT If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and site credentials will be set to "PUBLIC". DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields. I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" here to create a copy of the site that I can use to investigate the issue further. However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server for this purpose. If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/. If you are not able to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket. The private reply form looks like this: The next time you reply, click on "I still need assistance". Video: Please note that we are obliged to request this information individually on each ticket. We are not permitted to access any access information that was not specifically submitted on this ticket in the private response form. Best regards |

No fields provided to enter my credentials. I could create a new staging environment, but as you know WPML is not compatible with staging when a separate domain is utilized. |

A staging is not necessary in this case. Access to the live site would be sufficient and if needed, I could create a copy with the plugin "All In One WP Migration". It is very odd that yo do not find the fields. Did you make sure to click "Display all results"? The private reply form is enabled again. |

The fields are visible if you follow my earlier provided steps. See screenshot. Please apply the translation of your page again now. |

I'm glad you have found them. But, from my side, it does NOT appear. |

You need to click "Show system fields" and on the right bottom corner of the section click "Display all results" to see all 149 fields. |

I had already clicked on "Show System Fields", and switch to display 50 items. But, no more pages were shown to be displayed. I have since switched to 100, then "Display All Results". Now, I can see the two instances, but they are already set to "COPY". |

Okay, the issue is no more on a new page. How do I resolve the issue on existing pages?? And why wasn't those settings set by default to begin with? |
