Our main objective in creating a multilingual website is to sell in other countries, essentially making use of SEO in those countries. We use Yoast Premium. Now I was expecting to get a sitemap similar to the example below, however the yoast sitemap remains only adding the pages in the new languages. Is it supposed to be like this, to get the best performance out of Google's index?
I also take the opportunity to ask another question: Is it okay to enter the translated version (for example of a product) and change details such as the SEO description or some parts of the text? For example: we check after some time that a translated term is not the most appropriate and we change it.

I understand that there should only be one sitemap. My question has to do with the layout of the sitemap. In other words, the way it is, the pages of language A and language B are in the same list. Wasn't the first sitemap supposed to have a kind of switcher that tells google which pages belong to language A or language B? As in the example I sent. I'm afraid I didn't configure it correctly.
