This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You want to translate only certain pages of your website using WPML, while keeping other pages in the default language accessible from the translated pages. However, when you translate your home page, the blog page does not appear if it is not translated into that language.
Solution:
We recommend setting your pages/posts to

Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language

in WPML-> Settings-> Post Types Translation section. For detailed guidance on how to handle untranslated content, please refer to our guide.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I want to translate only some pages from my website using WPML. The rest of the pages should still be accessible from the translated pages in the default language. I am not using the 'Translate Everything Automatically' feature.

Symptoms:
When I translate my home page, the blog page does not appear if it is not translated in that language.

Questions:
How can I ensure untranslated pages remain accessible from translated pages?
Is there a way to selectively translate pages while keeping others in the default language?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.

1) You can set your pages/posts to "Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language" in WPML-> Settings-> Post Types Translation section.

Kindly check this guide to know more about handling untranslated content.

2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.

Best regards,
Osama
