Hi there.

Before this ticket gets assigned to my colleagues, I will try to help.

The proper way to translate strings depends a lot on how they have been implemented inside the theme/plugin.

Sometimes, there are even duplicates of the same string and only one of them is the correct one that needs to be translated.

Also, sometimes, simply removing the string (checking the box and removing it) and then re-registering it again by scanning for it (one of the methods below) and re-translating it resolves the issue.

1. Please try this:

Go to WPML > String Translation and at the bottom of the page you will find a checkbox called "Look for strings while pages are rendered". You can enable (check) that and then go in the front end to a page where you have that string showing up and then go back to WPML > String Translation and search for that string and see if it now shows up.

2. If you can't find them inside the WPML > String Translation, they might be added as admin text.

This should be the normal process to find and translate admin text strings:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

Please let us know how that goes.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

So I did scan and found those strings via this function, translated all strings that had the same name. And did try to change the translation did not help.
Used also the option to scan themes and plugin that responsible for theme views.

Also, are the pictures public that I published? If yes, can you remove it?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. I'll be following up on this ticket. I have removed the pictures that you have requested. Could you please follow the below steps and see if this resolves your issue:

1. Please take a backup of your site first for safety reasons.

2. We have recently released WPML 4.6.4, could you please update it to the latest version and see if this resolves your issue?

You can update it from Plugins >> Add New page, click the Commercial tab, and click the “Check for updates” button. Here is the screenshot for more details:
https://wpml.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/wpml-force-plugin-update-1.png

3. Please update WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin to the latest version.

4. Please make sure you have followed the below doc for translating the XStore theme:
https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/building-multilingual-ecommerce-sites-using-xstore-and-wpml/

5. If still an issue persists, could you please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue?

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

Thank you

Can you share what exact steps you will try to debug the issue so that I can try it myself first?
Also, I did update to the new version.

Sorry for the delay, it was my weekend (Friday-Saturday) and the reply time will be shorter from now. I’ll follow the below steps on your site:

1. I’ll log in to your site and check how the header is created and if it’s created using templates then I’ll check if that template is translated correctly or not.

2. I may install the String Locator plugin to search those strings in theme/plugin files and make sure they are multilingual ready: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/translating-the-theme-you-created/#wrapping-basic-strings

3. I may enable error reporting to check if there are some errors that are causing this issue: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/debugging-wpml/

You may try these steps yourself or please take a backup of your site and provide me with wp-admin login info to take a closer look at this issue and provide the exact steps to translate these strings on your site.

I have enabled a private input box for your next reply.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience
