This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where product gallery images are not being added when duplicating or translating products into Lithuanian or English.

Solution:
First, we recommend updating the WPML plugin and its add-ons to the latest version to ensure you have all the recent bug fixes and improvements. You can find the latest releases under My Account -> Downloads on the WPML site. Also, update WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency to version 5.3.3.1 and WooCommerce itself. Remember to backup your database before proceeding.

If the issue persists after updating, we suggest activating the "Show Multilingual Content Setup meta box on post edit screen" option in WPML → Settings → Custom Fields Translation. This will display the custom fields meta box on the product editing screen. Then, edit the product in its original language and check the custom field

_product_image_gallery

. If it is set to "Don't translate", change it to "Copy" and save the changes. Afterward, update the original product with a slight change to see if the product gallery images are copied over.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it is outdated, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. When we try to duplicate a product into Lithuanian ar english languages, the product gallery images are not being added, how can we fix this? This problem occurs not only when duplicating but also when translating in another way. I attach a short video:

Please update your WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version, 4.6.9, to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. This may not necessarily resolve your problem; however, we must work on the newest code to troubleshoot the issue best.

You can check the latest releases under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/

Ensure you update WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency to 5.3.3.1 and WooCommerce itself.

Please remember to backup your database first before you proceed.

Let me know if the issue persists after an update. If that is the case, try to test this with only the enabled WPML, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce plugins.

Hello,

We have updated the plugins and themes to the latest version, but no luck. Additionally, we tried disabling all plugins except Woocommerce and WPML, but still no luck. We also tried to do the same with another theme, but same result.

Does the same happen if you create a new test product?

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site – preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible – in order to be of better help. Thank you for explaining the issue to me. I have decided to activate the "Show Multilingual Content Setup meta box on post edit screen" option in WPML → Settings → Custom Fields Translation. This will display the custom fields meta box on the product editing screen.

After activating the option, I edited the product in its original language and noticed that the custom field _product_image_gallery was set to "Don't translate". I changed it to "Copy" and saved the changes. Then, I updated the original product with a slight change, and the product gallery images were copied over.
