We would need your WPML debug information.

- Go to WPML > Support > Debug Information (Link)
- Copy the Debug Information from there.
- Paste them in the box I'll enable for the next reply.

I'll continue helping you with this issue.

Can you please update WPML and String Translation to their latest versions and check if the problem persists?

If it does persist, can you tell me if WPML is activated for the network or only installed on a specific sub-site?

And it's only activated on "hidden link" not network

I can see this issue on your site.

WPML and String Translation are not updated on your site to their latest versions. Please see the attached screenshot. You can update our plugins at the following link on your site.

Hi,

I was able to update WPML and String Translation on your site. I did it by deleting and deactivating WPML and String Translation and deleting them. Then I uploaded and activated the latest versions of WPML and String Translation.

I continued to investigate this issue and could also replicate it on my WordPress multisite test site. Therefore, I escalated this issue to our second-tier supporters.

I'm sorry, but currently, I have no workaround to provide for this problem. I'll keep you updated on this issue once I have news.

Hi,

While I'm still waiting for our second-tier supporter's reply on this matter, I want to emphasize the following. According to the checks I've made, it seems like a minor bug. I say this because I couldn't recognize any problem besides the fact that the language parameter is added to the URL of the other site. This does not cause any problem with presenting the homepage of the /us/ site. In addition, as far as I can tell, this issue is only something that network administrators will experience. Random users or registered users of only the /us/ site would not get this problem because they can not switch to other sites from the admin section.

I'd be happy to hear from you if you think or encounter another problem related to this bug.
