[Resolved] Toolset plugin cannot connect to toolset.com
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are experiencing an issue where the Toolset plugin is generating a connection error to toolset.com on every admin page, despite not having installed the Toolset plugin yourself.
Solution:
We recommend performing a full site backup before proceeding with any changes. After backing up, please follow the steps provided in the errata and support ticket to address the connection issue:
If these steps do not resolve your issue or if the information seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML Support Forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
I want to record that the issue went away by itself, I did not do anything suggested above. You guys in WPML should really check why this is happening, why would you display something about a plugin I never ever installed? I see so many people with this issue, you really need to get into it and solve it.
Thank you for the updates. We hope you are installing and configuring WPML for the first time on this site. I have a couple of requests for tracking the issue.
1) Please fill the private details fields after a full site backup. I would like to access the admin area of your site for further checking. Refer to the following links for more details about our private information sharing policies.
2) Please allow me to make a duplicator copy of your site using the Duplicator plugin(https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/) for debugging the issue on my local server. So we can troubleshoot the issue without affecting your live site.
Thank you for your response. I have read your reply, but we need your support to debug this issue. That is why I requested the login credentials for additional checks and to create a copy of the site. This will help us to track the actual reasons for the bug as quickly as possible. Thank you for your kind understanding. I have enabled the private option for your next reply.
