This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are developing a site using WPML for translations and encountering issues where translated pages do not display the correct layout, style, or theme, particularly in the English version. This problem persists even after clearing the cache with WP-ROCKET.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML -> Settings -> Custom Fields Translation.
2. Click on 'Show system fields'.
3. Look for any items named with 'css', 'style', or 'styling'.
4. Set these items to 'Copy' or 'Copy Once' if they are not already set.
5. Make a minor modification to the main language version of the home page (even an extra space is sufficient) and save.
6. Edit the translation using the WPML Advanced Translation Editor and save it.
Check if the styling appears correctly in the second language after these adjustments.
If this does not resolve the issue, it might be necessary to provide temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site for further investigation. Ensure you back up your site files and database before providing access. For more details on privacy and security, please visit: our privacy and security policy.

This solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. Background of the issue:
I am developing a site and using WPML for translations. I have followed the documentation provided at https://wpml.org/announcements/2018/04/salient-theme-and-wpml-are-officially-compatible/ and https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translating-global-sections-salient-theme/.

Symptoms:
Translated pages do not display the correct layout, style, or theme, especially in the English version. This issue persists even after clearing the cache with WP-ROCKET. The problem is noticeable when browsing privately, although the WordPress dashboard functions smoothly.

Questions:
How can I fix the layout and style issues on translated pages?
Why does the problem persist even after clearing the cache with WP-ROCKET?
Is there a specific setting in WPML that I need to adjust to resolve this issue?

Hey there,

Thank you for contacting our support.

In order for you to try to fix this issue, can you please follow these steps?

- Got to WPML -> Settings -> Custom Fields Translation
- Click on Show system fields
- See if you can find any items that have either css, style or styling on its name

If you find any of them, please try to set them to Copy, or to Copy Once(if they were already configured as 'Copy').

Then, edit the main language version of the home page for example, make a minor modification to it(an extra space suffices.) and save the post/page.

Finally, edit the translation with the WPML Advanced Translation Editor and save it as it is.

After that, check how the styling in the second language will look like.

If it doesn't work, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to backup the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Privacy and Security Policy

We have strict policies regarding privacy and access to your information. Please see:
