Hi,

We are using Elementor Pro to create pages and template, and I did read this article:
https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#translate-elementor-templates

it helped a bit, but not all

#1)When translating to the secondary language, can we use elementor page builder instead of the Advanced Translation Editor for translating the pages, and the elementor templates?

#2) We created a Footer template with elementor, and it has a signup form that is integrated with mailchimp. On the French side, we want to have french text and for the form, the mailchimp audience is different from the English side. How can we translate the footer template and set the mailchimp audience to be different from the english side?

#3) We have created some Elementor 'Loop item' templates, and there is the post date (using a elementor widget for that). We want to change the date format on the French side. I tried using String translation section, but I can't find that there. I did try to use the Advanced Translation Editor to translate, but it doesn't seem to have the option to translate the post date. I've also tried this way from the article below, but it still doesn't work:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-your-sites-date-format-using-wpml/
How can we change the post date format for the loop item templates on the French side?

Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

#1) It is possible to use the Elementor page builder instead of the Advanced Translation Editor for translating the pages (you'll need to manually manage translations), please check our guide related to this:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/#how-to-use-manual-translation

#2) I could see from the debug log you sent that you don't have the MailChimp and MailChimp for WordPress Multilingual plugin installed on your website.
You'll need them in order to manage MailChimp forms, please check: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/mailchimp-for-wordpress-multilingual/

#3) Since the date format comes from the Elementor template, you might need to edit the translated template to change the date format.

Let me know if you need more assistance.

Please if you need further assistance with any of the questions above, I would request that you split them into separate tickets or let me know so I can do that for you as we manage one issue per ticket.

Kind regards,
Marsel
