Hi On Dantra.dk, I am trying to specify diffrent URL's for the two alternative languages on the site. I have the DNS setup for dantra.eu and dantra.se as you suggest in your guide. And when testing/saving the setting it says validated. But when I load either of the two URL's the standard site just loads not the translated site. Best regards |

Hello Nicolai, probably domain settings have not been set properly from your side, as there is redirect. 1) Make sure the homepage is translated to other languages and translated pages are published (pencil icon) and publish state. 2) Disable WPML and make sure domains are set correctly. They should all show the same site without a redirection. For example, if you have the domains “example.com” and “example.de” (and WPML is deactivated) you should see the same content when you visit any of these domains. Let us know how it goes. Regards, |

Hi Nicolai, As my colleague mentioned, it seems that the domains are not set properly. When WPML is deactivated you should be able to access the original content with all domains without any redirect. I checked the domains with this tool hidden link and it shows 301 (Permanent) redirects from the secondary domains to the primary domain. Please check the following screenshots: - hidden link Kindly contact your hosting provider and ask them to point the domains of secondary languages to the same location as the primary domain without using a redirect. For more details please check this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/#2-configure-the-dns-settings Regards, |
