Background of the issue:
I am trying to remove a persistent message on my WordPress admin dashboard related to WPML. I have updated my profile language and cleared the WPML cache in Troubleshooting. I have also made changes to WP Options Autoload and checked options under 'WPML', 'wpml', 'sitepress', and 'icl'. I deinstalled and reinstalled WPML CMS in my Staging environment.

Symptoms:
There is a message on my admin dashboard that won't go away: 'Do you want the WordPress admin to be in a different language? WPML lets each user choose the admin language, unrelated of the language in which visitors will see the front-end of the site. Go to your profile to choose your admin language.' I can close the message but it reappears every time.

Questions:
How can I permanently remove the WPML message from my admin dashboard?
Could changes to WP Options Autoload affect the persistence of the WPML message?
Is there a specific setting in WPML that I might have missed to stop the message from reappearing?
