This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to use WPML's AI translation feature but finds the available language options limited. Additionally, they are experiencing an issue with an unwanted globe icon appearing next to the menu language switcher in the Buddyboss platform.
Solution:
For the AI translation feature, WPML AI is currently available in a limited number of languages, and more are being added over time. Clients can check the list of available languages here. If the current languages do not meet the client's needs, it is recommended to use other translation engines like DeepL. Instructions for changing translation engines can be found here.
For the issue with the Buddyboss platform, the client should try the workaround provided in the WPML errata here. If that does not resolve the issue, a CSS solution is available here.

If these solutions do not resolve your issues or if they seem outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues here, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate our platform, hidden link, to multiple languages using WPML's AI translation feature. However, the feature currently offers a very limited range of languages, none of which meet our needs.

Symptoms:
The AI translation feature in WPML offers only a small range of languages, requiring us to use manual translation, which is a very long and ineffective process.

Questions:
When will more languages be available on WPML AI?
Why can't more languages from OpenAI be used in WPML AI?

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.

WPML AI is a new feature, which is being tested and implemented thoroughly to create the most accurate translations, where WPML operates — e-commerces and websites. The results for each language are analyzed and tested internally, to ensure they offer the best results, which takes time.

If WPML AI doesn't meet your requirement, you can use other translation engines, like DeepL, for example. You can check how to do that here:

https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-change-automatic-translation-engines/

If that does not help, one of my colleagues will soon come to continue support.

DeepL or other methods doesn't work well. You can't count with that translations. Not that precise and if we need to pay for something it should be good. But I think AI translations are almost perfect these days. And we are using AI dubbing and AI translations on daily basis and we love it. And we are using it for variety of languages. So really this will help us a lot if you will allow to translate to other languages via AI translations.

Hi there,

WPML AI is currently available in a limited number of languages. We’re always adding more.

Please find a list of available languages here:
hidden link

At the moment we can't activate specific pairs on demand, but I do recommend checking the above list as it's updated often.

Will be checking it. But if we need the language now, it won't help us if the language will be added few months later 🙁
Anyway thanks for answer.

I have one more question. I am using Buddyboss platform. When I use the Menu language switcher, I am getting the globe icon next to it. But I didn't set it. And there is no place where I can adjust it. I don't want it there. Do you know to help me? Can you please tell me where I can disable that icon?

Thank you very much.

Please try the workaround from this errata and let me know your results.

https://wpml.org/errata/buddyboss-wpml-menu-language-switcher-does-not-display-flags/

if that does not work, please try the CSS solution from this thread.
