I want to translate shipping methods

Is there any documentation that you are following? - This https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-translate-shipping-method/

I did this but there are not there

"1. Go to your WordPress backend
2. Go to WPML > Theme and plugins localization
3. Scroll to the "Strings in the plugins" section, check the box next to "WooCommerce" and click the blue "Scan selected plugins for strings" button
4. After the scanning ends, go to WPML > String translation and search again for the names in the shipping method titles (for example "free shipping""

Hi Dimitris,
Thanks for contacting WPML support, I will be happy to help you.

- To ensure the quickest and most accurate support, please provide your debug information so that I can get a look at some of your configurations. You can find it in WPML > Support > click on “Debug information” link. Please check this link for more info: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

- Please check if the issue persists in a minimal environment by following these steps:

- Deactivate all the plugins that are not related to WPML (Keep only Woocommerce enabled).
- Switch for a moment to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty-one.
- If the issue is gone, activate one by one to see with which one there is an interaction issue.

❌ Please backup your database and website before performing the above test ❌

Let me know please how it goes.

Regards,
Mohamed

Hi Dimitris,

1- Please increase the WordPress Memory Limit. The minimum requirements are 128Mb and the debug information of your site shows it set to 40Mb. Kindly check this link for more details https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/.

You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file, right before the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');

After adding the code you can confirm that the memory was changed correctly from WPML > support > WordPress > Memory limit.

2- I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin) so I can investigate this issue further.
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –

Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.

❌ Please backup your database and website before providing us with access details ❌

Thanks for your cooperation

Hi Dimitris,
Thanks for providing the access details.

I checked the site and found that those strings weren't included in the String Translation module for translation, So I followed the instructions mentioned here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#strings-arent-selected-for-translation

Now you can use the String Translation page to translate them as shown in the attached screenshot.

Let me know please if that helps.

Regards,
Mohamed
