Hello,
Thank you for contacting WPML support.

1.- Could you describe the steps to reproduce the issue and to edit the popup?

2.- I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back-up the site before providing us access. In the event that we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

Kind regards,
Carlos

Hi Carlos,
1.) I created a popup via Templates/Popups and set it to appear on the start page of our site. Then I translated it via WPML and updated the translation of the start page.

2.)

Looking forward for you reply.

Hi Carlos,
I followed the instructions but it did not resolve the issue fully.
Now the popup is showing up in the english version as well.
Unfortunately the content is German.

Hi,
Thank you very much for this information.

I edited the popup in German -> Switched the language on the admin menu at the top -> Follow the same steps you described and saved the changes. Now the popup appears in the English frontpage.

Could you confirm that the issue is solved?

Regards,
Carlos

Hello Carlos,
I can see the PopUp now, but please undo what you did.
I don't know why but Navigation and Header are broken now 🙁

Hi Georg,

For some reason the condition to display the header in all pages wasn't there. I just added the condition again and now it's showing correctly.

Please take a look at the site and check if you notice any other issue.

Regards,
Carlos

Hi Carlos,
no need to undo anything. In Elememntor it is sometimes necessary to rebuild the CSS files. Did that - everything fine noew with the header.
Unfortunately the Popup still shows in German when I'm on English page.

Hi Georg,

I just restored the Popup in English but it does not have content because I deleted it when trying to disable it :/

Could you add the translation again?

I'm sorry for this mistake, I was trying to disable the popup but because everything is in German it seems I clicked in the wrong place 🙁 Please accept my apologies.

Regards,
Carlos
