Hi,

In my site, we do NOT want to translate our company and product name, such as:

DataNumen
"DataNumen Outlook Repair"
"DataNumen Word Repair"

How to do so?

Hey there!

I understand what you're looking to do. However, at least for now, there's no option to exclude elements from being translated. I did look for some workaround but I couldn't find anything to do the trick. All the translatable content will be automatically translated.

Kind regards,

In that case, can I put translation into translation memory such as "DataNumen Outlook Repair"(English) -> "DataNumen Outlook Repair"(Chinese), so that next time it encounter the phrase, it will use the memory that will not translate at all?

If yes, how to do so?

Hi there.

The translation memory is automatically saved:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-wpml-keeps-track-of-your-translations/

After digging a bit more and running a few tests, I am happy to let you know that you can indeed accomplish what you wanted, and in order to do that, you have to use the "Glossary" functionality:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/how-to-create-and-manage-glossary-entries/

That should take care of this 🙂

Have a lovely rest of the day!
