Hi Long,

I now understand thank you! I have a questions related to the element that are translated. When I send pages to transate, what is the best way to choose what kind of elements are to be translated? For example, I obviously don't want to translate shortcode.

Thank you!

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

You are using the Elementor page builder to add the shortcode on the events page and it is registered for translation. So you can try to use a custom language configuration code to overwrite this process. Please read more on the documentation below
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/how-to-register-page-builder-widgets-for-translation/
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/

For example:

<wpml-config>
  <elementor-widgets>
    <widget name="shortcode">
    </widget>
  </elementor-widgets>
</wpml-config>

Please keep in mind that this is a custom code and it is beyond our scope of support. If it does not work on your site, please contact one of our certified partners that will be more than happy to help you with this. In this link you will find a list of our certified partners: https://wpml.org/contractors/

Another way, before sending a page/post for translation service, you can add some notes to notify some content does not need to translate. Please read more on the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/#how-to-check-the-status-of-translation-jobs

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
