This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client has translated the home page from English to Czech and wants the Czech home page to select the translated Taxonomies. However, they are unable to find the Taxonomies and have tried making them translatable from the WPML settings without success.
Solution:
If you're experiencing issues with Taxonomies not appearing after translation, we recommend the following steps:
1. Disable all WPML plugins.
2. Click to edit each category term.
3. Re-enable the WPML plugins.
4. On each category edit screen, click save/update.
This process should resolve the issue with the translated Taxonomies not appearing on your Czech home page.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I have translated the home page from English to Czech and I want the Czech home page to select the translated Taxonomies.

Symptoms:
I can't find Taxonomies. I have tried to make them translatable from the WPML >> settings but it's not working.

Questions:
How can I make Taxonomies translatable in WPML?
Why are the translated Taxonomies not appearing on the Czech home page?

Hello,

thanks for contacting us.

1) Can you please share where and how can I see the issue on the CZ frontpage?

2) Did you translate taxonomies and posts related to that category? Sincethe category will not exist or show if they do not have any posts in it.

Regards,
Drazem

Hello,

okay, so you need to make these taxonomies translatable, for example destinations and etc, and then translate these destinations taxnomies one by one.

1) Make them translatable, for example find destination and set it translatable: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/register-custom-terms-types-taxonomies-as-translatable/

2) Translate them, by going to WPML → Taxonomy Translation and use the drop-down menu to select which taxonomy (Destination) to translate. Then, click the plus icon to add the translations.

Drazen

Hello,

thanks, I have resaveed them while WPML is active and now the show for default language.

Please also note BA Book Everything is not officially compatible or tested by us so there could be some issues with WPML, I would advise checking with the author for proper steps or if they support WPML and invite them tothe GoGlobal compatibility program:

Hello,

you would need to:

- disable WPML plugins, click to edit each category term, enable WPML plugins, and on each category edit screen click save/update, then it should work fine.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen
