This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You have added a new product and its translation in WooCommerce using WPML. Although the translation shows a 100% completion status and appears in the translation queue, it does not display on the webshop. This issue started after enabling WP Rocket Premium. Solution: We have applied a troubleshooting fix to your site, which now allows the translated products to display correctly in the webshop. Products that show a "pencil" icon are fully translated and should now be visible.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Background of the issue:
I inserted a new product in the original language and added a translation for it with WPML. The translated product does not show on the webshop. In the WooCommerce product list, the translation shows the gear icon, when i clickit, the editor shows the translation status is 100%. The product appears in translation queue (status in progress) but not in the webshop. I have inserted products and translations the same way many times before, and everything has worked. The last time it worked was on 12.11.2024. The main change since then is that I turned on WP Rocket Premium.
Symptoms:
The translated product does not appear on the webshop despite showing 100% translation status in WooCommerce.
Questions:
Why does the translated product not show on the webshop?
Could WP Rocket Premium be affecting the display of translated products?
While one of my teammates takes care of your ticket, I will provide you with the first debugging steps.
Please update your WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version, 4.6.14, to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. This may not necessarily resolve your problem; however, we need to work on the newest code available to troubleshoot the issue best.
You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/
If you do not see the updates, you might need to click the Check for updates button in the Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab.
Please remember to backup your database before you proceed.
Let us know if the issue persists after an update has been done. Is the problem solved if you temporarily deactivate WP Rocket Premium?
Everything is updated to latest version. Also tried to add translations when WPRocket was deactivated. Didnt help. Still cant see the translated products in shop.
I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
Thanks for your reply. I've applied some troubleshooting fix for you and it is showing the translated products now. As shown in the attached screenshot, those showing a "pencil" icon mean it is fully translated.
