This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing a 403 error indicating that your site can't communicate with

https://api.wpml.org/

, follow these steps to resolve the issue.
Solution:
1. Update your WPML plugin to the latest version and all related add-ons. You can find the latest versions in the 'My Account -> Downloads' section of the WPML site. For update instructions, visit http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/.
2. If the error persists, contact your hosting provider to ensure they are not blocking the following domains:

  • wpml.org
  • cdn.wpml.org
  • api.wpml.org
  • api.toolset.com
  • cloudfront.net

For more details, check out https://wpml.org/faq/wpml-plugin-cannot-connect-to-wpml-org/. Remember to back up your database before proceeding.
3. Unregister your site in 'Plugins → Add New' and click the 'Commercial' tab. For more information, visit this link.
4. Generate a new site key on wpml.org.
5. Register your site again following the instructions at https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/#register.

I'm getting the 403 error for a few days now.

Your site can't communicate with hidden link. Code 403.

Could you please update your WPML plugin to the latest version 4.6.7 and add-ons to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements? This may not necessarily resolve your problem, however, in order to troubleshoot the issue best we need to work on the latest code available.

You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/.

If you are still seeing the issue, please check with your hosting if they are not blocking the following domains:

– wpml.org
– cdn.wpml.org
– api.wpml.org
– api.toolset.com
– cloudfront.net

Remember to backup your database first before you proceed.

I have updated manually to 4.6.7
Added domains to Wordfence firewall
Still no connection to WPML API server

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site – preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible – in order to be of better help. – Unregistered your site in Plugins → Add New and click the Commercial tab

– Register your site again

Hi, i tried this.
When i try to register i get : Unable to parse data from service response.

In the installer log i see : Your site can't communicate with hidden link. Code 403.
Before everything worked normal and i didn't make changes.

I found another ticket. Is my site blocked from your API ?

Those sites were blocked because they were sending too many requests (hundreds/second) to our API, this usually indicates they are using old versions of our plugins.
