This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to translate the global header of their site but when they go to Translations, the header opens in the WPML translator and looks empty.
Solution:
We noticed that the header contains primarily the Menu, with no additional content, which is why the translation editor doesn't display anything except for the title. Menus should be translated via Appearance > Menus. After translating the menu, it will automatically update in the translated version of the header. We recommend checking our documentation on translating menus: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/

Even if the menu is not translated but only the pages linked to it are, the menu will still appear translated in other languages as long as the header is translated. Therefore, we suggest translating both the header and the pages linked to the menu for the header and menu to display correctly in other languages.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to translate the global header of my site
Is there any documentation that you are following?
Yes, I went to Translation management, selected the Header Template, then translate....but when I go to Translations, the header opens in the WPML translator and looks empty.
Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue and will try my best to assist you in this matter.

Upon reviewing the header on your website, I noticed that it contains primarily the Menu, with no additional content. This is why the translation editor doesn't display anything except for the title.

It's important to know that the menu should be translated via "Appearance > Menus". Once you translate the menu, it will automatically be updated in the translated version of the header. Please check this documentation to understand the process of translating menus: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-menus/

Interestingly, even if you don't translate the menu but only the pages linked to it, the menu will still appear translated in other languages as long as you translate the header.

Therefore, I recommend completing the translation of both the header and the pages linked to the menu. By doing so, the header, along with the menu, will be displayed correctly in other languages.

I hope you can understand. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
