Background of the issue:
I am encountering an issue with the WPML Translation Management section on my site hidden link. All my plugins, themes, WordPress, and WPML are up to date.
Symptoms:
When I navigate to WPML → Translation Management → Untranslated or Needs Update, I see 95 items marked in green as already translated. The 'Start Translation' button is greyed out, and if I overwrite the translation, the item remains listed in the table.
Questions:
Why are items marked as translated when they appear in the Untranslated or Needs Update section?
Why is the 'Start Translation' button greyed out?
How can I resolve the issue so that the Translation Management section reflects the correct status?
After discussing this issue with our 2nd tier support, we recommend you wait for the new version of WPML 4.7 with the new Translation Management UI to fix this issue.
The beta version 4.7.0-b.1 is available for testing, if you want to use the beta version, please follow the documentation https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-install-beta-and-development-versions-of-wpml/
Note: please install the new version on the staging site for testing.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
