I am using shoptimizer and yesterday I started adding a new features to the products like different colour swatch and product gallery pics based on the colour variant. I realised yesterday that the settings are not populated to the languages.

So this is the reason:

Hi,

There are two types of WooCommerce products that translate with WPML plugins.
1) Translate each text based on original product data.
2) By duplicate products for each other language.
In 1st case, all features of CommerceKit will work.
But, In 2nd case, you need to add Attribute Swatches, Attribute Gallery etc for each other language product.
It seems you have duplicated the above product for other languages (2nd case) hidden link,

So how can I change the way wpml works? In that case, I would like to obviously have the 1st option rather than 2nd.

I would need to take a closer look at your site. So I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed

IMPORTANT: Please, note, a backup is required for security reasons, and to avoid any data loss, you can use the https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/plugin for these backup needs.

Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

Hi Kor,
I have reversed my backup and pushed the staging site to live as after testing the other plugin is not what i am looking for. Please continue working on this as we need to find solution as soon as possible.

I've checked the product here hidden link and I can see the issue with the "Attribute Swatches" not being copied over and selecting it manually saving it isn't possible.

Could you replicate the issue here on our sandbox site so that I could escalate this to our 2nd Tier Support? hidden link

Or could you provide a snapshot of your Website so that I could continue with the troubleshooting. Or can we have your permission to create a snapshot on our own?

We usually recommend the free Plugin “Duplicator” for this purpose.

If you already know how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/),please skip the following steps and just send me the archive file you downloaded.

If the file is too large (more than 400M), please use the Duplicator file filters to remove the cache, the wp-uploads directory, the media, and the archive files.

Send me the link to the archive file (you probably want to use Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big).

Your next reply will be private, which means that only you and I will be able to see it and have access to it.

You can paste the link to the file there.

Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.

Hi Kor,
I tried to duplicate the site but it stuck on 39% so couldn't do it even I excluded the things you mentioned so feel free to do it. Also, Ive installed the theme I am using in the sandbox environment and ive added one product so feel free to check it and copy my site for further checking/testing.
