Hi 'm using WPML + WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency in a woocommerce with the plugin "WooCommerce Cost of Goods" but the Cost of a product is independent in the two versions: Catalan and Spanish languages.

I want to change the cost in one language and then the cost change automaticaly in the other, just like the price or stock. I want to have the same cost of goods value for all languages.

I don't find documentation about that.
best regards,
David

Hello David,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Unfortunately, the plugin "WooCommerce Cost Of Goods" isn't on our compatibility list (https://wpml.org/plugin/) and I couldn't find much about it in our forums.

Logically, if it isn't translating, you should be able to see the same value in all languages. But honestly, I am not sure at this point that how it works.

However, as per my assumptions, this plugin should be using some custom fields for those cost values. In WPML you can set the translation preferences for the fields by following this guide https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/.

If this doesn't help, then I advise you to contact the plugin author and request a compatibility update. WPML offers very useful information for developers aiming to make their themes/plugins compatible. Please see https://wpml.org/documentation/support/ and https://wpml.org/documentation/support/achieving-wpml-compatibility-for-your-themes-and-plugins/ for details.

Theme and plugin authors are welcome to join WPML’s Go Global program, which helps them make their code multilingual ready. Together with WPML’s compatibility team, they can test and confirm that their theme or plugin works with WPML. See https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/ for details and you can refer your theme/plugin provider to this as well.

Regards.
