This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client encountered a database error message when activating a plugin, indicating that the table 'wpds_icl_strings' does not exist. Additionally, they were unable to see content on the site or add a new language after installing the UNCODE theme.
Solution:
We resolved the error message by closing it using the X icon. If the issue persists or if further investigation is needed, we recommend providing FTP access for deeper troubleshooting. Additionally, a specific issue related to WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency was fixed, which involved incorrect settings for the 'product_type' field in some product translations. This was due to the translation of the 'product_type' taxonomy, and the client can correct this error on the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency troubleshooting page.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
